On March 25-26, ITL hosted the fifth meeting of the Interreg Central Europe SUSTANCE project in Bologna.

The first day was dedicated to sharing updates on the project’s technical activities, particularly the six pilot actions and the online tool for assessing public transport accessibility. In the afternoon, participants took part in a guided tour of FER’s Control Room at Bologna Central Station, which monitors and manages train operations on regional lines.

The second day opened with a welcome speech by Guido Fabbri, ITL’s President. This was followed by a presentation from Agenzia Mobilità Romagnola on the “Sustant” WebApp, developed within the SUSTANCE project to digitalize two on-demand transport services in the Romagna area.
Finally, Andrea Normanno from the Emilia-Romagna Region presented the regional MaaS4RER project and discussed how this initiative promotes sustainable mobility and aligns with Sustance activities.

We extend our gratitude to all partners and collaborators who participated in the meeting, making it an important opportunity to share updates and exchange insights on the project’s progress.
