The use of drones for medical transport is no longer just a hypothesis, but is now the subject of various research and testing activities.
In this context, the Horizon Europe project Di-PEGASUS is exploring the use of drones for deliveries to healthcare facilities, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. The aim is to assess whether these solutions can improve response times and be efficiently integrated into existing transport systems.
Beyond emergency scenarios, the project also considers potential applications in everyday urban logistics, such as the distribution of goods and supplies. In this context, it is essential to gather the perspectives of both sector professionals and citizens.
