On May 15th and 16th, the second Consortium Meeting of the MED COLOURS project took place in Lyon. The project is coordinated by ITL and funded by the Interreg Euro-MED programme.

During the meeting, hosted by Société Publique Locale – Lyon Confluence, partners discussed the progress of project activities and joint strategies to develop smart and sustainable urban and logistics planning. They presented the five urban logistics solutions being developed by the partners in the cities of Livorno, Cesena, Koper, Lisbon, and Lyon and took part in a peer-review monitoring session, during which they had the opportunity to exchange ideas and feedbacks.

The final day concluded with a visit to the Hôtel Logistique Urbain – HLU Lyon Gerland, a logistics hub inaugurated in 2024 and located on the outskirts of the city. Covering an area of 29,000 m², it is one of the largest logistics hubs in France, housed in an innovative, low-emission building designed to promote more sustainable last-mile delivery in the Lyon metropolitan area.
