From March 26th to March 28th, students from the ITS course “Advanced Technician for Supply Chain and Digital Logistics”, jointly organized by the Bologna, Parma and Piacenza ITS Foundations participated in a study tour to the main ports of the Northern Adriatic Sea: Koper (Slovenia), Rijeka (Croatia), and Trieste (Italy).
In Koper, the students were welcomed by Roberta Vincoletto, president of the Self-Governing Community of the Italian Nationality of Koper, and visited the various port terminals. The visit to the port of Rijeka focused on the Adriatic Gate Container Terminal and the Off-dock Terminal Skrljevo.
Finally, at the port of Trieste, Pacorini Group provided insights into the logistics cycle of coffee, followed by visits to the TMT Container Terminal and the Multipurpose Terminal of the logistics platform managed by HHLA PLT Italy.
The visit was an opportunity to connect theory with practice in an international context, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in maritime logistics management by closely observing terminal operations.
