On April 23rd, ICARUS launched the first training webinar on overview, Insights and Trending Topics in “EU MS Policies & Strategies for sustainable mobility & multimodal transport.
The ICARUS project fights against problems generated by the massive use of private cars by introducing solutions based on innovative technologies to adapt smart mobility in a digital world. Partners work to activate behavioral change in mobility, using the “Mobility as a Service” concept.
The topics covered by this webinar include:
- review of EU strategies and policies related to sustainable mobility and multimodal transport policies in the last 20 years (with some short historical excursus within the 90’s policies);
- reassessment of EU policies;
- macroregional strategy and implementation policies;
- spillover effects of EU policies in some Member States (Italy and Croatia).
- effects of transport and mobility policies within the cross-border cooperation and integration framework
- Identification of selected key topics and keywords emerged as leading concepts from mobility and transport policies
- insights related to the next EU funding Programmes (ETC/FP 2021-2027) in order to what will be the role of mobility and transport topic
