On the 17th and 18th of February, the Project Management Group Meeting and the Final Conference of the GRETA project took place in Bologna, two complementary moments dedicated respectively to internal coordination and the public dissemination of results.

The PMG Meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review the progress of project activities. During the meeting, updates on the different Work Packages were presented, with particular attention to analytical activities and the capacity-building strategy for innovative and sustainable urban logistics in Central Europe, as well as to the measures for sustainable urban freight transport currently under implementation. The meeting allowed the partnership to align on upcoming deadlines, pending outputs, and the final phases of the project.

The Final Conference was instead dedicated to presenting the results achieved to a broader audience, as well as discussing future perspectives. The event offered a comprehensive overview of the project, from its initial objectives to the main achievements in the five Functional Urban Areas involved. Significant attention was given to the pilot actions, which demonstrated measurable impacts in terms of improved logistics efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and reductions in vehicle kilometres travelled and emissions. The potential for results capitalisation was also highlighted, with the aim of integrating them into long-term local and regional strategies and planning frameworks.

The conference also hosted the fifth workshop of the Permanent Working Group with External Projects, focusing on strengthening the skills and capacities of logistics operators and policy makers. Through discussions among project partners and representatives of other European initiatives, best practices and innovative approaches were shared to support the transition towards more sustainable, collaborative, and efficient urban logistics systems.
