ITL meets with GreenPATH partners in Kecskemét for the project’s 5th Steering Committee

On April 21-22, ITL attended the 5^th Steering Committee of the GreenPATH Project in Kecskemét. The meeting, which focused on how the results and lessons learned from each pilot activity can be translated into local policies addressing commuting and sustainable mobility, gave partners the opportunity to review the progress achieved so far and to align on the next phases of the project.

Discussions focused on the pilot actions currently being implemented in different urban contexts, including university campuses and industrial areas. These pilots are generating valuable insights into how innovative mobility solutions can be adapted to different local conditions and, ultimately, replicated beyond the project territories.

During the meeting, partners focused on the development of data-driven Action Plans, strategic and operational documents intended to translate the project’s solutions and lessons learned into concrete measures at both local policy level and within each Functional Urban Area (FUA), with the objective of improving home-to-work commuting.

Other key topics included strategies to reinforce the integration of project results into policy frameworks, as well as the assessment of the environmental and social impacts of the pilot activities, in order to support their long-term sustainability and replicability.

The meeting also focused on the forthcoming communication and dissemination activities, which will be essential to increase awareness among stakeholders and citizens and to encourage the adoption of the project’s results. The Steering Committee meeting provided additional strategic direction, contributing to strengthen a common vision for the next stage of implementation.

The meeting in Kecskemét reaffirmed the value of transnational cooperation in tackling mobility challenges and in promoting more sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban transport systems in Central Europe. It also marked the transition toward the project’s final phase, during which partners will work on consolidating results and maximizing their long-term impact.
