In December, ITL took part in two important events organised by the Green Hydra project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme and coordinated by the Municipality of Ravenna. The project aims to support public authorities in the development of policies to promote the deployment of green hydrogen and the energy transition at territorial level.
On 11 December, Margit Kuuse, Project Manager of H2CE, presented the project at the 4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting of Green Hydra, hosted by the vocational institute for renewable energy technicians.
Following the opening session by Tiziana Campisi, representatives of companies active in the logistics, energy production and technology supply sectors jointly discussed the international learnings achieved so far within the project. An interactive activity on the green hydrogen value chain also directly involved students from the ITS TEC courses, followed by a visit to the ITS TEC RED laboratory.
The strengthening of synergies between Green Hydra and H2CE continued on 15 and 16 December in Lublin, with ITL’s participation in the 5th International Partners’ Meeting of Green Hydra. This provided a further opportunity for exchange on training, public policies and support measures for the green hydrogen value chain.
The programme included workshops focused on the identification of policy measures and study visits to the Lublin University of Technology, the local public transport depot and an industrial site undergoing energy transition, offering a concrete insight into the potential applications of hydrogen.
The Emilia-Romagna region confirms its central role in the path towards the energy transition, with an increasing focus on the development of green hydrogen and on strengthening skills, policies and European cooperation.
