In the framework of EUSAIR Flagship of Pillar 2 on Transport ‘Adriatic-Ionian green-smart port hub concepts’, the Conference seeks to foster a discussion on how digital solutions can improve the management of rail operations and enhance the efficiency of interconnections between inland and port terminals, stimulating dialogue across the EUSAIR port system in the Adriatic-Ionian basin.
The conference, included in the activities foreseen by the EUSAIR Facility Point for the 2025 Work Plan of Pillar 2, Transport section, is jointly organised by the Institute of Transport and Logistics Foundation (ITL), the Emilia-Romagna Region (RER) and the North Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority (ADSP MACS) with the support of CROSSFREIGHT, a project funded under the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme 21-27 aimed at enhancing rail shunting operations management.
