On November 27th and 28th, ITL participated in the second project meeting for Di-PEGASUS, held at Safran’s headquarters in Paris and attended by all 12 project partners,.
Di-PEGASUS, which aims to promote the use of drones and vertical take-off and landing aircraft in the logistics sector to reduce delivery times and emissions, is funded by the Horizon Europe program and brings together partners from 8 different countries. One year into the project, participants met to discuss the results which have been achieved so far and the activities that have been carried out, as well as ongoing and upcoming tasks.
Two interactive workshops were also held. The first focused on strategies for maintaining ground-based aircraft, vertiports, and water-airports for seaplanes, using innovative technologies for de-icing and anti-biofouling. The second workshop analyzed possible validation methods for the three Use Cases developed by the project in Italy, France, and Greece.
