On May 13, ITL and Clust-ER GreenTech are organizing the webinar “Decarbonizing Freight Transport: Economic-Regulatory Framework and Development Scenarios in Emilia-Romagna.”
The event is organized within the H2CE project and is aimed at companies and stakeholders from the transport, logistics, and green energy sectors, who will have the opportunity to exchange ideas on development scenarios and opportunities.
Decarbonizing freight transport, which is essential for the energy transition, is particularly relevant for Emilia-Romagna, a region with a significant logistics and industrial sector. In order to reduce emissions from transport, technological solutions must be accompanied by a clear regulatory framework and a cost-benefit analysis for businesses.
The session will be moderated by Andrea Bardi, ITL’s General Director, and introduced by Katia Ferrari, Greentech’s Cluster Manager. Andrei Turlea will present the H2CE project and Claudia Romano will provide an overview of the decarbonization goals of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Next, Andrea Bardi will highlight the contribution of the regional transport sector, while Bernardo Galantini, Transport & Environment, will delve into the regulations surrounding transport decarbonization. Finally, Matteo Gizzi, Motus-E, will discuss the technological and economic landscape, comparing various options for decarbonizing freight transport.
To conclude, participants will have the chance to ask questions and share insights during a Q&A session, which will also allow for the exploration of potential collaborations within the cluster.
