On October 25th, ITL took part in the seventh edition of the Adriatic Sea Forum as part of the Interreg Italy-Croatia program. The event, dedicated to maritime tourism, was organized by Risposte Turismo in collaboration with the Port of Ravenna. ITL took part in the Round Table titled “Making Maritime Tourism and Transport More Sustainable: The Contribution of Interreg Italy-Croatia Projects.”
During the first part of the meeting, which focused on sustainable maritime tourism, Denis Grasso (Project Manager) presented CYROS, a project coordinated by ITL. In particular, the discussion revolved around the possibility of adopting a common Universal Design approach in the development of new digital tools for sustainable tourism and maritime transport.
Angelica Mazzina (Senior Project Manager) then discussed CROSSFREIGHT, a project in which ITL is a partner, as part of the conversation on green maritime transport. Specifically, the discussion explored investments in port sustainability, and pilot actions were presented to demonstrate how Interreg Italy-Croatia projects are contributing to greener port systems in both countries.
