The ITL Foundation is attending the first edition of the Adria Shipping Summit, taking place in Ravenna on October 23 and 24. Daniela Mignani, Head of Unit – Business Development, is participating as a speaker in the session titled “Ravenna Port Hub: Infrastructural Works. Today and Tomorrow for Italy and Europe.”
In her presentation, Daniela Mignani highlights the role of the port of Ravenna and its economic context, as part of the panel “Ravenna Port Hub: Infrastructural Work,” which delves into how the investment made by the Northern Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority and its partners has the potential to be a turning point for the entire Italian port system.
This initiative, one of the most significant at the national level, aims to develop a hub capable of efficiently handling the continuously growing volumes of cargo and passenger traffic, thanks to innovative infrastructure designed to ensure a constant and effective operational flow.
The session will also discuss the strategic role of the port for the entire Emilia-Romagna production system, particularly concerning the steel and ceramics industries, as well as the progress of the FSRU Ravenna project.
