CROSSFREIGHT project (Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme) aims to improve the rail shunting processes within intermodal and port nodes to improve the efficiency of the shunting operations.
The outputs of the project will create benefits to both the communities and the logistics and port operators reducing bottlenecks and decongestionating the intermodal and port nodes.
The cooperation between the CROSSFREIGHT partners will work jointly to define new, or upscaled ICT solutions to deal with the new functional and operative requirements of the rail shunting operations in Croatia and in Italy.
